History

In 2005, immunologist Dr. Inderpal Randhawa embarked on a search for a new approach to food allergy treatment and began accumulating data on the adult anaphylaxis population. A few years later, in 2008, Dr. Randhawa integrated his growing database of anaphylaxis patient data with predictive applied math models to create the Tolerance Induction Program™(TIP).

Founded in 2015, the Food Allergy Institute operates two clinics, one in Long Beach, CA and the other in Vista, CA.  the for-profit company administers the Tolerance Induction Program (TIP) to thousands of patients globally and claims to be the only remission-inducing food allergy treatment available. Many patient testimonials support this claim.

Our Mission

Tolerance Induction Program™ (TIP)
